Marilyn was a great friend who we have been trying to track down for a long time. We are so sorry to hear that she has passed.

Marilyn was my best friend for many years here in Tucson. I have many fond memories of playing volleyball, working on her house, watching her property anytime she was out of town especially on extended trips. I was there when her beloved father passed and when she purchased her house. We hiked the grand canyon and took many friends and family with us. She was a friend to my family as well. She was aunt Marilyn to my daughters and a close friend of my wife. She was a good friend and I will miss her, even though we had drifted apart the last few years.

Marilyn was an exceptional teacher, a supremely talented potter, and caring friend. I moved away several years ago, and sadly lost touch, so just discovered this today (Feb 2024) while thinking of her and hoping to reconnect. I grieve now and share your loss while holding two pottery pieces she gifted me, remembering each pottery class and event we shared, and Marilyn's smile. She always smiled. My fellow classmates can attest to the fact that I never mastered the wheel despite years of Marilyn's patience, so every wheel piece of mine has Marilyn's fingerprints above the 2-inch mark. Rest well, Dear Marilyn.

Marilyn was in command at the Udall Pottery Studio for many years with amazing organization and her caring heart for all students and fellow teachers.

Patience and kindness are just two words I'd attribute to Marilyn. It took her a few years (slow student) but she taught me to be skilled on the potter's wheel. Her class was full of light and humor, perfectly reflecting herself. Marilyn was the best kind of friend in and out of the studio.
