Olando, man I miss you dude. I had a son and I named him after you. I can only hope he is as cool as you were. You protected me I know you did. You looked out for me. You always had my back and I know you had a huge heart. I hope my son can keep your memory alive thru your name and I´m already buying him all kinds of gear. I´m going to order him an iverson jersey next. I remember you and me would fight over having the number 3 lol because of him. Man I remember you gave me an iverson jersey one year because you knew my family couldn´t get one for me. You did it without missing a beat straight off your back. I wish I still had it. One year today you left this earth but not our hearts. You sit by God and you see everything. You are an angel in heaven as you were here on earth. I know you are missing your brother so very much. I am so sorry for your loss, If I could, I'd bring him back for you. I remember you and Olando in grade school! I watched you 2 grow up!
Literally. Everywhere I saw you I saw Olando too. Sweetheart, Please know that Olando still remains with you. Through all those cherished memories. You can keep his spirit alive and with us all. I enjoyed your sotry on how he got his nick name. :O)

Odie! My baby brother! I remember giving you that nickname. Remember we went to the store by Nisha's house and we stopped to play the machine where I won the stuffed animal Odie from Garfield. You looked at me and said "Dang midget who knew you could actually win something lol" I remember looking at the stuffed animal and telling you "he kinda looks like you with your big floopy ears" lol Ever since then the name sticked. I can remember all of our memories together. From us going to Elementary school together to seeing you go to High School. You grew into such a wonderful and respectable young man. I keep re-playing all of our long conversations in my head over and over again. We talked about anything and everything. All the times you would call me on your breaks at school just to talk and you to tell me "Midget do baby talk"! God what I would do to hear you say that one more time. I can remember the morning you tackled Sasha (my dog)because she jumped on you while you were sleeping. That was hilarious! From all of the memories that we have whether it was going to car shows or just hanging out, I'll always cherish them! Words cant express how much Sal & I miss you! When it's our time to be re-united, I hope your waiting to greet me Odie! Until then you'll remain in our hearts and will NEVER be forgotten! I love you baby brother!

Orlando's love touched the world more than he realized. His lost is great, but not forgotten. His spirit lives on.
Friends that once disputed over something minor are suddenly joined and the anger is no more.
Parents who have lost sight over their own childern have awakened.

I will always remember the fun times we shared, you and Vic hanging out and the love you showed to my kids. You were a great tio (uncle) and an even better brother. I can't stop thinking about you. How Can I? You were like a son to me and Vic. We miss you like crazy little brother! Nicole was your favorite niece and you will always live through her. She is a spitting image of you. Lil Vic knows you're with the Angels in Heaven. I'm glad you were able to be here to see my last son be born, Nathan. Gabi misses her tio. I want to thank everyone who came and celebrated Olando's life with us. My mother is forever greatful. His love shines through all his friends and through our close family who knew Olando. Thank you for spending time with me, Vic and the kids every chance you got. Rest in Peace baby brother, your big sister loves you! Vic loves you! The kids love you! Tia Tina, Hector and Family,
We don't always understand God's timing for bringing his saints home. But we should know that the body is the vessel that houses the spirit, and that now Olando's spirit is free to roam in the mansion that God has built for him in heaven. It is our human nature to mourn and ask WHY, but God tells us not to hold onto things of the world, but to hold fast to him, and to LEAN on HIM for understanding. This is my prayer for you all, GOD, I ask you in Jesus name that you cradle this family in your arms, and that You give them a dose of your Unconditional LOVE. Father, please catch and dry every tear drop of theirs that falls.
