Oma C. Shotts

SHOTTS, Oma C., beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2008 with her family at her side, at age 80. Oma was born May 5, 1928 in Dougherty, Oklahama. Gone before her are husband, George; father, Claud; mother, Rosa; brothers, Claud (Son), Johnnie and Bill; great- grandson, Shane. She is survived by her son, Charlie (Sonny); daughter, Terry; brother, Leaton; sisters, Imogene and Rose; grandchildren, Mohammed, Kelemwork, Haba, Heather, Angela, Gary; great- grandchildren, Elizabeth and Kailey; nieces, Marie and Doris; special friends (you know who you are) and lest we forget her "baby" Heidi. Oma lived life with a pure heart and unconditional love for family and friends. Whenever there was a need, Oma was there to help fill it. Whenever there was a problem, Oma was there to help solve it. Oma lived a life of sacrifice to others before she thought of herself and for that, her family will be forever grateful. Oma has gone to a better place, but she will never be forgotten. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., May 13, 2008 at SOUTHLAWN MORTUARY & CEMETERY, 5401 South Park Avenue, Tucson, AZ.
