Ruth Hancock Obituary

Ruth Marie Hancock 9/12/1925 - 5/7/2015 89, preceded in death by husband, Robert (1982). Survived by sons, David (Jenny), Philip (Laurie) and Kenneth (Sherry); granddaughters, Jessica Bushard (Joe) and Amanda Hancock; great-grandchildren, Mason, Caroline and Stuart Bushard. Ruthie was born and raised in Geneva, IL. Began her family in Urbana, IL, moved to Minneapolis, Carbondale, IL, Tucson, AZ, Duluth, MN and Malta before settling back in Tucson in 1982. Ruthie was a very loving and giving person. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Memorial Service celebrating Ruthie's life will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 1200 N. Campbell.

Ruth was my mother's closest friend in school in Geneva, Illinois. My mother passed away five years ago, but told us many stories about their friendship.

It is never easy to lose a loved one, I pray you find comfort in Gods promise found at John 6:40 which says that soon we will see all our loved ones again. My deepest condolences to the family.
