He was a wonderful warm person and we are all the loosers from his passing. We were Best Men at each others Weddings.
A short story. Sam and I were on a jeep ride into the back roads south of Tucson one day. We had a great time checking out old mines and ghost towns. Little did I know, he was getting me out of the house so my wife (Sue) could set up a suprise party. We arrived 2 hours late.
I am sure we all have numerous stories to share and memories of great times with Sam.

Sam was a classmate in Garmisch, Germany. He was a regular guy, a real person, i.e., no frills, no fuss, no pretensions. I liked him very much, am saddened that he is gone, but happy that I had known him. My sincere condolences to the family and other friends on our loss.

Sam took life as a great adventure. He was a good friend, classmate, roommate, and great back-up. He lived more life experiences than any five of us will ever know.
