DUFFY, Sarah Jean

born July 6, 1987 and died suddenly on March 25, 2020. She is survived by parents, Thomas and Shirley Duffy; life partner, Michael Graver; grandmother, Alice Hinton: aunts and uncles, Robert and Jean Ravin, Frank and Jane Duffy, Forrest and Beverly Hinton and cousins, Michael Duffy and Katie Ravin. She is predeceased by her grandparents, Francis and Jean Duffy and Phillip Hinton and uncle, John Duffy.

Sarah graduated from Rincon High School and attended the University of Arizona and the University of Phoenix. She worked in the service industry and was intent on great customer service. She always gave her best in her work. She was a kind, considerate, caring and loving person. She had a great sense of humor. She was an organ donor. She will be able to pass on the gift of life to others.

Graveside Service will be at East Lawn Palms Cemetery on Grant Rd., Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements by ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Dodge Chapel.

I remember a sweet little girl that went to First Steps Day Care. Sarah loved to sing and dance. Always a ready smile and the most expressive eyes. I remember her love of reading-story time was her favorite. So glad I got to meet this wonderful family. (Shirley I still have the library reading t-shirt you and Sara gave me. I kept it as it was a Native American woman reading to children. She was a joy to have in our class-we loved the whole family. Blessings and prayers for comfort, Reva Bucholtz.

I have known Sarah since we came to Tucson in 1997, she was my daughters best friend all during Middle school, high school, and they were roommates their first year at the university of Arizona.. they went to church together, and were inseparable. Sarah, and her mother and dad, have never uttered a bad or judgmental word against anyone. I always found that soWonderful in a child 11 years old. I strive to be like Shirley, Tom and Sarah, and fail , daily. Sarah was loved,, and she will be greatly missed by our family, and many others. All our love and overwhelming hurt for your loss of a only and wonderful child.
