Thomas Perrotta Obituary

Thomas "Tom" Perrotta passed away on May 28, 2024 at the age of 77 after a courageous battle with lung cancer of over 5 years.

Tom was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 18, 1947 to Helen and Frank Perrotta, and grew up with his siblings Kathy, Michael, and Ann. He spent three years in the army, including one year in Vietnam, where he achieved Sargent with the 35th Engineer's Battalion and received many commendations and medals for his service. After the army, he attended Saint John's University where he completed his bachelors degree.

Tom went on to lead a remarkable career in marketing in New York City. He was an account manager at some of New York City's top ad agencies, including William Esty, where he rose to Senior Vice President of Marketing. After relocating to Tucson, Arizona he became Vice President of Marketing at Health Partners before taking on his most important job of all and his greatest life's joy, a stay at home father to his beloved daughter Ava, who he shared with his ex-wife Celeste.

Those who knew Tom knew him for his love of the desert, his caring and generous heart, his intelligence and his wisecracking sense of humor! He loved to hike, particularly in Pima Canyon, and spent most of his time outside designing and landscaping his beautiful properties in Arizona. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Tom's name to Vietnam Veterans of America.
