Timothy Stovall Obituary

Timothy Scott Stovall (aka Tim) was born July 1, 1969, in Seattle, Washington, and passed on November 17, 2020, in Tucson, at the young age of 51. The third of four children, Tim excelled at sports (baseball, soccer, and track) and approached everything he did with a passionate gusto. While he spent most of his life in Southern California, he moved to Tucson in 2018 and fell in love with the southern Arizona landscape (he was an avid photographer). His favorite place to visit and just "be" was grounds of the DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun. Tim also had a wicked sense of humor and (pre-pandemic) was sharing his gift at open mic nights around Tucson.
He leaves behind a grieving family that will miss him greatly: mother Nancy Walker (Roy) (AZ); father Bill (Kara Gay) (AZ); sister Chrisie Drake (David) (AZ); brother Todd (Jessica), nephew Brady & niece Camille (TX); brother Jeff (Mary Beth) & niece Alyssa (CA), step-sister Laura Baukol (Matthew) (CO), and aunt Susan Vucichevich (John) (AZ).
A celebration of life will be held in 2021 when family & friends are able to travel safely. Tim loved dogs; in lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory to your local no-kill animal shelter would make him smile.
His final resting place will be in the East memorial wall on the grounds of St. Mark's United Methodist Church, with a view of the mountains and desert he so loved.

I met Tim in Paris in '89 when himself and Todd were travelling around Europe. He visited me in Dublin afterwards. I've thought of him a lot over the years, and I discovered old letters today and tried again to look him up. I'm so very sorry for your loss.

So very sorry Stovall family. Loss of one so loved is difficult. Know that God cares for you as you grieve. (1Peter5:7)

I was Tim's best friend in high school. We got our 1st bass guitar (Tim) and drum set (me) together. Many hours in his livingroom learning together. I would love to learn more about Tim's life.

Hi Nancy, Tim was a friend of my son Charles while in grade school. I remember Tim as a funny kid, part of the nicest bunch of kids. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Tim will be forever in our heats as the truly intelligent, sweet and caring young man that was so much a part of our family fabric. He will be terribly missed. May his memory be eternal.....
