Dear Family, I know that Chris & I haven't talked with any of you in ages but we were still so sorry to hear about the loss of your father. We both have great memories of when we were young, hanging out at your house. Chris still remembers Rowdy's idea of a tailgate party at the O.U. football games which included bringing milk and sandwiches. We would love to talk to you sometime. You will be in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Sincerely, Chris & Paula Osko

Rowdy was my friend and a true "American" who loved his God, family, friends, his animals and his country.

He stood for what the word "American" means. He was proud of his family's accomplishments, and his "Sooners". You never spoke negatively about America, the Military, his family, OU or Connecticut Mutual around Rowdy or you would surely have a fight on your hands.

One of his favorite songs was Lee Greenwood's "I'm proud to be an American" and "God Bless the USA!"

The Lord surely will be hearing from Rowdy regarding our world, the Sooners (look for them to have a really good year), and blessing all who knew him.

God bless Rowdy Sanger and I hope we never forget what he stood for.

I'll never forget you Rowdy! All blessings to his family and friends.
