"Alex", Age 3 Mar. 10, 2006 - Jan. 11, 2010 Survived by his loving parents, Angie and Dan; brothers, Sam and Charlie; grandparents, Bob and Marilyn Hanson and Steven and Genie Kufus; aunts and uncles, Kristin Hanson, Rob Hanson (Leah Fristedt) and daughter, Taylor; Mandy (Diarra) Campbell and their children, Linnea, Aidan, Ezra and Vincent; Tim (Erica) Kufus. Alex began his life with complications, but that never kept him down. He came home from the hospital and blossomed. He always kept a smile while he worked diligently to increase his strength. There were some hiccups along the way, but he would recover even stronger. He was an Amazing Little Boy. The light of everyone's eyes that met him. Alex, we will always love you and miss you more than words can say. Thank you for being in our lives. Visitation Sunday (January 17) from 12 - 4 PM in the HOLCOMB-HENRY-BOOM-PURCELL FUNERAL HOME 515 Hwy 96 W., at Mackubin, Shoreview (651-482-7606) Mass of Christian Burial, Monday (Jan 18) 10:30 AM at NATIVITY OF OUR LORD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 324 Prior Ave. at Stanford, St. Paul.

Dear Kufus Family,

I also had the privilege of being one of Alex's teachers at Pike Lake. His smile was truly contagious and he was a such a bright spot in my Wednesday and Friday mornings. He loved to attend circle time where we would sing songs about Tiny TIm the Turtle and The Wheels on the Bus. Alex will always have a special place in my heart.

Alex grabbed my heart the first time I looked into those laughing blue eyes when he was 3 months old. He will always have a special place in my heart. I always feel comfort in believing that things always happen for a reason and altho it may not be understood at this time, I believe that in time peace and understanding will come to us all!!!
