I met Clyde in person only once but we were both in facilities management so I had numerous conversations with him on the phone. I worked in the Phoenix office and Clyde always had time to help me with whatever problem I might bring. Clyde cared about me, my work and the company and though we rarely saw each other face to face I considered him one of my best friends.
My sincere condolences.

Although I've been away from RI for many years now, I never forgot about Clyde. Never again have I experienced such a well stocked and organized supply cabinet. I don't get to have Dilly days or all staff cookouts. No one gives me their ripe bananas. And I haven't yet found a coworker who can appreciate swapping VW stories. Aside from all that, he was a good man. He'll be greatly missed.
My thoughts go out to his family for their loss.
Peace,

Clyde made me smile and laugh everyday I worked at RI/TNS -- I loved being around him. He enjoyed work and his spirit was contagious. He touched many lives with his positive, get it done, attitude. He freely shared his opinions -- which was always fun. I’m truly blessed to have had Clyde as my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with his friends and family. Jean

I remember as a 10 year old...Uncle Clyde gave me a new baseball glove for my birthday...since U.C. was left-handed...he gave me a glove for the right hand. (I throw with my right hand.) I used it for quite a while. I would catch with it...take it off...and throw with my right hand. The kids would joke about my "wrong glove"...but I didn't mind. Thank you Uncle!
Miss you. GUY

Oh, a great man is gone. Clyde made my day regularly whether when I was visiting the MSP office or whether I was at my desk in CT. My thoughts are with all of his many loved ones...it was impossible not to love Clyde!

Clyde has gone on ahead of the rest of us and I look forward to a joyous reunion some day. It was a pleasure to work with Clyde for many years. Now that I work at home, I still carry out the "Dilly of a Day" tradition. Miss you, ya hunyuk!

Oh Clyde. Where to start? What to say? So many stories we shared. His gruff exterior was the biggest show of all, because on the inside we all knew he was a softy. When I was pregnant he would check in on me everyday, "ELIZABETH!" he would yell. He's the only one I let call me that.
Most importantly, on a very difficult day. He showed me that compassion and kindness can be present even if matters of "business". He held my hand and even shed a little tear and a quick hug to send me on my way.
Gonna miss you Clyde and Thank You. You'll never know how much your kindness impacted me.

Clyde alway did little things to make you feel special. He knew I had a weakness for Sunkist Orange. If there was a meeting where they had drinks and I had not been at it, he always made it a point to come by afterwards and put one on my desk. I never had to ask - it was always there.

In the early 80's Clyde hired me to join him in the Admin dept. at Winona Research. We were a team for about three years...And what a team! No matter what, he had such a great sense of humor and always the biggest smile on his face. I know he will be dearly missed by staff at tns and remembered with fond memories by all who had the privilage to know him. Deepest sympathies to Nancy, Elysia & Adam. God Bless...

Clyde was easy to make laugh because he never took himself too seriously. But he took his job, and his mission in life, very seriously -- to do whatever he could to help others succeed. And he did.

I not only worked with Clyde for 10 years at Winona Research/RI, but I also went to school with him in Shakopee. Clyde was one who always had a smile on his face and an upbeat attitude. He was not only a wonderful co-worker but friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

Clyde was always a good friend. In the thirty five years, through good and tough times, Clyde never faltered, he was always Clyde. I am thankful for Nancy having shared Clyde with us. I am thankful for having known him, he represents the best side of life.

I am really sorry to hear about Clyde. Barb, Jim & I were all part of the Shakopee Ave neighborhood. We sort of grew up together. We had many great times and although I haven't seen Clyde since our mothers funeral (a few years ago) it still brings all of us great sorrow. So you all hang in there and remember all the good times. Will talk to you all tonight. We will also keep in our prayers. Beverly Ince (Cox)

Clyde, it was an honor and priveledge to work with you and get to know you. You were one of the kindest and most postive people I have ever met. I know you are making people smile around you upstairs. I will miss you.
