Helen M. KNOEDL

1923 - 2018

Of New Brighton and formerly of Columbia Heights passed away December 25, 2018. Born in St. Paul, June 16, 1923. Preceded in death by husband of 66 years, John Knoedl Sr. Survived by daughter, Tricia; and son, Jack Jr. She assisted her husband as a bookkeeper at the Jiffy Market grocery stores and later worked as a clerk at the St. Paul Companies. After retiring she also assisted her son and daughter in various business ventures. Helen and Jack lived on Anna Maria Island for 20 years prior to returning to the Twin Cities. Helen loved poetry and had several poems published. She loved crafts and making computer greeting cards and bookmarks. Her zest for life and sense of humor brightened many people's lives. Thank you to the wonderful staff at New Brighton Care Center and her previous residence, Crest View, for their care and support.
