Jerome Phillip ROBERTSON Sr.

1945 - 2014

Age 68, died April 19, 2014 Two days shy of his 69th birthday after his bravely-fought year-long battle with cancer. Jerome was born April 21, 1945, in North St. Paul, Minnesota and was a lifelong resident of Minnesota with the exception of the last ten years of his retirement when he resided in Venice, Florida during the winter months. He passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by loving family at his sister's home in Vadnais Heights, MN. Preceded in death by parents Ray Robertson and Guertrude Lueck. Survived by his three children, Jerome Robertson, Jr. (Kim), Christina DeGrande, Linda Jones (Lance); and grandchildren Ashley Robertson, Emily, Robertson, Christos Charakas Robertson, and Tiana DeGrande; his eight brothers and sisters, many nieces, nephews and family members, as well as a many cherished friends. A memorial service and celebration of Jerome's life will be held in the community room of Cedric's Landing, 5680 Hadley Ave N, Oakdale/Mahtomedi, MN 55128, on Thursday, April 24, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with Eulogy and remembrance at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
