Sorry for your loss. I always enjoyed our visits to Minnesota to see our relatives. Mary Ellen was always a lot of fun to be around and I enjoyed listening to her stories.

Hello Felix family, Not sure if you remember me. My mother Irene Carr & MaryEllen were friends at Ecumen. They sat together in the dining room. From the little while I knew her she was quite the funny lady. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I was so sad to hear about Grandma Mary Ellen. She was a feisty lady, and always treated me like one of the family. I will always remember her. I'm sorry we were unable to attend the service, but you all will be in our thoughts today.
Love,

Katie, sorry about your loss. I have so many funny memories of your mom and of George: racking leaves, camping, her furniture covers, her deep cleaning, all the cooking she did. Some memories going all the way back to kindergarten! I think she is the last of everyone I remember from that silly, special neighborhood where we grew up. I will be thinking of you and your sisters tomorrow when you celebrate her life. I am sure she will be watching and enjoying. Sincerely, Marjie Mahoney Henderson.

I was blessed to have Mary as a neighbor for many years. She was a saucy, awesome lady who could never stop talking about George and her girls. She taught me a lot about how to stand up for myself and that I needed to trim my bushes and sweep my driveway. She was like a second Mother to me, and when I brought her Communion last week she recited all the prayers and fell asleep as I read the Psalms. God Bless you Mary!

Sorry to hear about Aunt Mary Ellens passing. My mom sends her condolences as well. Mary Ellen was fun and had great stories to tell like my dad and had that same sparkle in her eyes. I'm sure they're swapping stories now.

Maureen, Katie and Mary Jean,
Thinking of you and remembering many happy family events. I always loved being around your Mom because she reminded me of my Dad. That Brick spunk. I'm sure she arrived to many happy to have her with them and I hope they're all together shaking dice.
