Dick was a wonderful person ! I grew up down the street on Long Lake in New Brighton . His son Rick and I were close in age and we were friends growing up . Both Rick and I would go with Dick to his shop on Saturdays [ before we could drive ] and wash the Tow Trucks and clean the shop . He was the one that got me interested in cars & trucks .[ I became a Auto. Tech .after I got back from overseas deployment and started school ] He would take Rick and I to the Stock Car Races at the MN . State Fair on Labor Day . What a treat ! I got to watch the race as well as his buddies would bring over some of their race cars to Dicks shop for repairs after the race . I watched them pull the engines out for repair . I learned a lot in the couple of years working with Dick . I worked 31 years at Rosedale Chev as a Tech , Dick would drop in and check on me . Thank you Dick and family for all , may you RIP and be with Jean .

As we grow older we lose friends, some are great friends. Dick Pellow was one of my great friends. We met in 1971 and we where like brothers ever since. We worked together and played together. I'm really going to miss this old friend. Go help God put together some old cars Dick and I'll catch up to you.
