Robert Zenith NEWMAN

Age 89 Of Fort Myers, FL and St. Paul, MN passed away February 12th, 2014 at The Lodge at Cypress Cove in Fort Myers from heart related issues. Preceded in death by his wife of 68 years Louise Newman, parents, Joseph Glickson and Annette Newman; his adoptive father, Milton Newman, who raised him with Annette; son, William Newman and brother, Donald Newman. He is survived by his son, Richard Newman and wife Jeorgina; and daughter, Nancy Newman Lux and significant other, Jeff Godfrey. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Jessa, Tyler, and McKinsey Lux and Joey Newman. Bob served in the Army in World War II and then went into the paint business with his father and brothers. After the business was sold, he continued to work in the paint business and as a manufacturer's rep. Interests included boating, golf, fishing, reading, travel and spending time with family and friends. Services will be held FRIDAY, February 21st at 12:30 PM at MOUNT ZION TEMPLE, 1300 Summit Ave, St Paul.
