I met Scott one day at Bunker Hills golf course , I was on the green when a ball rolled up onto the green , in amazement I looked down the fairway over some 235 yards away and saw two people waving their hands . In anger I yelled back . And my friend said arnie , Take it easy I think that is Scott Ladoux a fighter somewhat known for his talent . He came to the green and said he was sorry . Today being 83 years old and remembering that nice man , who I got to know better . And was so surprised at the fighters he then fought . Today in 2023 I wish I could go back in time to Bunker Hills !

The great Scott LeDoux. He fought Ali, Foreman, Norton, and many others. He was a tough guy, but a nice guy. My best memory of Scott was when he was in AWA as a referee, and him and Larry Zybszko had a vendetta with one another and they fought each other. And I remember him in Clark submarine sandwich commercials. I never got to meet him, but he seemed like a nice man. It´s sad he died of ALS, my condolences to his wife and family, sorry for your loss. Scott will always be remembered as the man who fought the greats in the sport of boxing, 10 world champs. Never forget you Scott your a mans man!

Scottie, you were always someone I looked up to in boxing. As I got older I´d steal some of your moves in the gym, just not as polished as you were. You exemplified what a great fighter and sound like person is,

I am so sorry for the loss that your family has suffered. I have known Scott since I was about 10, he was a very good friend of my dad's, and they golfed together at Bunker Hills, where I rode along. I read that Scott wanted people to tell Josh that he was a "Helluva Fighter", well Josh, My dad took me to two fights, (both your dad's at the met)I'm still A huge boxing fan because of your dad.He was a HELLUVA FIGHTER!!!!! What a loss for the people that knew him, and those that had yet to meet him. Scott was one of the most considerate, caring people that I have ever had the priviledge to know, every life that he touched is richer because of him!

In 1999, we were present when Scott interviewed our granddaughter, Tarryn, for her Disney Make a Wish trip--that was before Wishes and More. He was so kind to her and left quite an impression on us. We lost her one year later to brain cancer and are so thankful for the memories we soaked up on that trip. I spoke to him at JC Penney almost 2 years ago and let him know again how grateful we were. Blessings to his family in the lonely days to come.

To the Family of Scott Ledoux,It was a pleasure to know Scott. We could always count on Scott to be there whenever asked to help out with anything related to Golden Gloves. He knew that the amateur part of boxing is what fed the pro part of boxing and to help kids was his number one priority. Thanks Scott for all you did for amateur boxing.

Carol and family,I got to know Scott in the early 70s at the 7th Street Gym where we were sparring partners and friends. Scott was a fierce and fair competitor, always a gentleman. It was evident that he was a Christian by the way he behaved. "He fought the good fight, he finished the race, and he kept the faith." My wife Therese joins me in extending our deepest condolences. To Scott's extended family,

I knew Scott in the Army in the early 70s before he turned professional. Scott was a caring and gentle man then and as we watched him become the professional we all know, Scott never let the bright lights blind him and he was a gentle and giving man in a tough business. He also would call all his Army buddies keeping us all in touch.

He loved you all very much. We will all miss him but will carry him in our hearts and memories. May God bless and keep you.
