CYRUS LUND POWERS Cyrus Lund Powers, age 59, of Roosevelt, Utah, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of June 12, 2025. Born on November 20, 1965, in American Fork, Utah, Cy was a caring husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife, Shelly, his four sons and their partners: KC (Krishia), James (Kayla), Donald (Tysen), and Wesley (Ashley), four siblings Paula, April, Craig, and Dooley, along with many other loved ones. He was a proud grandfather to 13 grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy. Cy was known for his gift for listening, his many hidden talents, and his uncanny ability to soothe even the fussiest babyearning him the affectionate title of "baby whisperer." An avid explorer, Cy found peace and adventure in nature. Whether he was casting a line, exploring mountain trails, or convincing someone to join him on a motorcycle ride, he was always looking for an excuse to escape the house. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his love for his family. Cy was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents and his younger brother, Todd. In accordance with Cy's wishes, no formal services will be held. Per his request his ashes will be scattered in a Marsh so he can forever be in the land he loved.
