Keith Carlan "Bub" Nez

Keith Carlan "Bub" Nez, age 22, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away Feb. 22, 2012, at his home.
He was born Oct. 31, 1989, in Roosevelt, to Larry James Nez, Sr., and Venice Shavanaux.
"Bub" had a great sense of humor and loved to tease everyone-especially his sisters. He enjoyed lifting weights, listening to music, hanging out with friends and family. Some of his other nicknames were "Ju-C", and "2-ez." He loved his family and friends, he was especially close to Tabatha Myore, Heidi, Monica, and Kasey Reed, and Trent Sowsonicut.
"Bub" is survived by his parents, Larry Nez, Ft. Duchesne and Venice Shavanaux, Yellowstone Subdivision; his siblings, Eli Van (Salena) Nez, Roosevelt; Blake Aaron (Jacy) Nez, Ft. Duchesne; Larry Nez, Jr., (Melissa Post), Randlett; Harlan Nez, Salt Lake City; Dotsy LaRee Wyasket, Altamont; Laura Alyce Nez, Yellowstone Subdivision; grandmother, Levate Nez, Randlett; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ned Nez and Coney and Vera Shavanaux; nephews, Tresson, Iran, and Mason Nez, cousins, Nolan and Karlee Jack, Theo Jenkins, Lance and Bruce Shavanaux; uncles and aunts, Danny, Corrine, Charles, Edmond, and Irvin Shavanaux, Cleo Flores, Frances McKinley, Reuben, Sr., Bonita, Scott, and Rodell Cesspooch, Bob Nez and Ned Nez, Jr.
Graveside services were held Feb. 27 at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery.
