URBANA - Jeffrey Lynn "Jeff" O'Brien, 49, of Cable, passed away September 22, 2015. He was born December 5, 1965 in Bellefontaine, Ohio.
Jeff was a 1984 graduate of Graham High School. He worked at KTH Engineering for 35 years and he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jeff loved watching his children grow and he was at every game or meet. He was a loving husband and a caring, devoted dad that only wanted the best for his children. He was very proud of their accomplishments.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Angela Dawn O'Brien; his children, Marshal Robert, Lauren Faith, and Eli Jeffrey O'Brien; his mother, Willadean (Mefford) O'Brien, his brothers, Gene (Judy) O'Brien of West Liberty and Dean O'Brien of Rosewood; and his 12 nieces and nephews.
Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Robert A. O'Brien.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 to 5 PM on Sunday, September 27, 2015 in the VERNON FUNERAL HOME, Urbana. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Monday, September 28, 2015 in the funeral home with Pastor Jereme Proudman officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Cable.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Peoples Savings and Loan in West Liberty for Jeff's children's college education.
