Frederick Cahalane Obituary
He was born in Lawrence, Mass., on Jan. 23, 1944, the son of Frederick and Mary Cahalane. He formerly lived in Manchester, N.H., for 23 years. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School in Lawrence, Mass., and was a veteran who served in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967. He had been employed by BAE Systems (formerly Sanders Associates) for several years before retiring in 2003. He loved Boston sports teams and was a longtime member of the Red Sox Nation in The Villages, Fla. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and following his favorite football player, his grandson Braden.
In addition to his parents, Ted was predeceased by his sister, Patricia.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Diane (Pettengill) Cahalane of The Villages, Fla.; daughters, Tamra Hayes of Manchester, N.H.; Anne Marie Hafeman and her husband Kevin of Manchester, N.H.; Karen Cahalane of Northhampton, Mass.; son, Michael Cahalane of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one grandchild, Braden Hafeman.

My sincere condolences to Diana and his family. May he now rest in peace! Ted was my boss for years before his retirement from BAE Systems and my wife and I had the pleasure of visiting him and Diana in Florida when my parts lived the as well. I missed our visits once my parents were no longer there! He was a wonderful boss and friend! May God Bless him and his family during this difficult time! Yvon & Sue Gagnon
