George Hiscoe Obituary

FRANKLIN - George P. Hiscoe, (Pete), 78, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at his home in Franklin. Born, Aug. 15, 1935, in Perth Andover, New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of Noel and Aileen (Lunn) Hiscoe.

At the time of his death, Pete worked as a program driver for Walmart Distribution Center, Raymond. Previously he owned and operated Hiscoe Trucking. He was a life member of OOIDA. Pete was a 30 year friend of Bill W.

Pete enjoyed fishing, dancing and traveling with his wife.

Survivors include his stepmother Hilda Hiscoe, Perth Andover, N.B., Canada; His wife Patricia (Rufo) Hiscoe of Franklin; two sons, George Hiscoe of Houlton, Maine, and Steven Hiscoe of Holiday, Fla.; three daughters Linda Hiscoe of Houlton, Maine, Trudy Brill of Tampa, Fla., and Cheryl Hara, of Riverside, Calif.; two stepbrothers, Richard Roach, Oromocto, N.B., Canada and Wayne Roach, Aroostock, N.B., Canada; brother-in-law, Michael Rufo and fiancée Pam Boyce, Penacook; sister-in-law Susan Snow and husband Irv, niece Spencer Snow, Concord; close friends Mick Glasson, Andover, Scotty Nevers, Oakfield, Maine, and Lois Hiscoe, Smyrna Mills, Maine, and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Pete was predeceased by his parents, his in-laws Pat and Cappy Rufo, his brother Tom Hiscoe, grandson Chris Hiscoe and nephew Tim Hiscoe.

SERVICES: A memorial Mass will be held at St Peter's Church in Concord, in the spring.

I knew Pete when I started hauling wood in the Katahdin Area in the seventies.
Give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.
Not many like him these days.
He'll be missed.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Pete had known him for years, In the third grade I was sick with the red measles,he came to a going way party for my brother, and yes he got them also, loved this family RIP you will be so missed I pray Gods strength and peace with his family and friends
