Mr. & Mrs. Hess, I know the saying that 'times heals' is supposed to be comforting, but I can't see where this could possibly apply to losing a child--I'm sure you carry the pain with you everyday, probably most moments of the day. I pray that in God's mercy, He will give you a comfort that is not of this world to allow you to feel a happiness when you think of her. Remember that we are only passing through now and will all meet again one day. And, oh, what a glorious day that will be! Hugs.

Sara its hard to believe its been 2 years since you became a Heavenly Angel. Kenna struggles missing you but you are not forgotten. We have never taken our brackets off that have your name on them. We see them on our wrist everyday and think of you! Its Senior year and it makes it even harder knowing she cant share that with you. She made a personal choice to change schools and the hardest part is the friends that she left. You were such a kind hearted girl with such a bright future. God picks the best angels! Missing you always! Kenna & Temple

Cheryl - I can't imagine you and your family's grief, but I know you will be together again someday. Love never dies. I know Sara was blessed by wonderful parents. I knew you at Ohio Northern and I was a Kappa Phi girl too. I live in Kenmore, NY but I still keep up with the Springfield news via internet. I saw the name " Hess" and it immediately made me wonder if she was related to you. I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray God gives you comfort and that you are surrounded by love and caring. Although no words can be said that can truly comfort at her passing, Heaven is even brighter with her presence. And, as those who are in Christ Jesus know, it is not good-bye--it is 'see ya soon'. Love, prayers, and hugs go out to family and friends.
