Marilyn E. Tesak, 65, of Utica, died April 30, 2014, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center with her family at her side. She was born February 1, 1949, in Utica daughter of the late George and Doris Perry Kirley and was educated at UFA. She married Walter Sam Tesak on July 20, 1947. He died January 2, 2011. Marilyn was formerly employed with Tartan Textile Service and Wal-Mart in North Utica. She was a member of Historic Old St. John's Church and she enjoyed Bingo. She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Pike and fiance Michael Gokey, her son Kristpoher Tesak all of Utica; her grandchildren Brandon Tesak, Justin Pike, Anthony Tesak, Joshua Pike, Samantha Tesak and Dylan Tesak; her brothers and sisters and their spouses, Clesson Miller, of MO; Joanne and Tom Leggs, New Hartford, Kathleen and Terry Wells of FL, Robert Kirley and companion Bill Turner of AZ, James and Carol Kirley of CA, and Pauline Read of FL and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Foster Mother Marianne Grestl and her brother Karl Miller. The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Elizabeth Cardiac Care for all of their care. The funeral will be on Monday at 10:00 AM at the Ryczek Funeral Home, 1123 Court @ York Streets, Utica. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery. Calling hours are on Sunday from 2-6 PM.
