Bobby and Roxanna, I am so very sorry to hear about Matthew's passing. I have so many happy memories of time he and Jack spent together, at the bus stop, at the pool and at sleepovers. I was always glad that Jack had such a good-hearted person as a friend. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.

Dear Roxana,
With such sadness I write to you shortly after reading of the passing of your precious son, Matthew. Not knowing your contact information, this is the best I can do for now, although I still think of you with such caring and affection, it's feeling rather impersonal.
To think of you and Bobby going through this loss is so upsetting. There is no doubt in my mind that your Matthew, as well has his siblings have had the best of parents. I mean that. In reading about Matthew, I can just picture you nurturing all that was good in him through the years. Above all, I'm so sure, knowing you, that Matthew always, always felt loved. That's big, as we all know. You and Bobby and your children are all in my prayers regularly as you endure this grief. I pray that peace and power will come sooner than you think, for each of you. My family lost my 15 year old brother when I was 18. I am here to tell you that "the sun will shine again. "
