Emily was sunshine.
A positive presence in my life, whose presence and friendship brought light when I felt darkness in Chicago and darkness in life.

We met when she was an undergraduate at Roosevelt University.

She was positive, she was non-judgmental, she welcomed people.

Thank you , Emily.
