Gladys Tatum Obituary
RAYMONDVILLE, TX. -
Gladys L. Tatum (1933- 2014) went to eternal rest on January 9, 2014 surrounded by loving family and friends. She was born in Raymondville, Texas to the late Eldridge Davis and Maggie McKnight-Davis.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Tatum Sr. and her parents Eldridge and Maggie.
She was a loving, giving, kind-hearted and compassionate person to all who came to know her.
She is survived by one brother Bishop Arthur Joe Henry of Los Angeles, California; nine children: (Wanda Davis of Simonton, Texas; Walter Tatum Jr. of San Antonio, TX ; Wayne Tatum of Raymondville, TX, Vicky Garza of Raymondville,TX, Faith Farley of Lyford, Jeral Tatum-Hill of Waco. TX, Linda Tatum-Oliver of Missouri City, TX, Kaye Tatum of Austin and David Tatum of San Marcos,TX) and numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 6pm- 8pm at Duddlesten Funeral Home in Raymondville, Texas.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday January 18, 2014 at 3:30pm at the Duddlesten Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo, Raymondville, TX.
