Sally Ten Hagen Obituary
Ten Hagen
Midlothian -- Sally B. Ten Hagen, 74, passed away December 6, 2015 at Midtowne Assisted Living and Memory Care in Midlothian, Texas.
Sally was born in Des Moines, Iowa on December 23, 1940. She was raised by her loving parents Earl and Helen Burmeister.
She graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School and attended the University of Iowa. She and Tom, her husband, and three boys moved from their Iowa farm to Duncanville, Texas in 1969.
Tom and Sally opened Ten Hagen Excavating in 1971. Scott continues to run the business today. Sally enjoyed being a mom, running their company, and enjoyed outdoor activities with Tom and their boys. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, her church, and had a great love for nature and animals. They moved to Port Mansfield where Sally and Tom enjoyed their retirement.
After the death of Tom in January 2010, Sally moved to Midlothian and lived with her son Mark and daughter-in-law Sherry. In August, she moved to Midtowne Assisted Living and Memory Care.
She is survived by her sons, Scott, Mark and Brad Ten Hagen, her sisters, Sue Davis and Shelly Mowery, her grandchildren, Kara Barnett, Austin Ten Hagen and Payton Ten Hagen and Great Grandsons, Hagen Barnett, Jensen Barnett and Owen Ten Hagen.
Visitation will be on Friday, December 11, 2015 and will continue on Saturday, December 12, 2015 until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Duddlesten Funeral Home.
Interment will follow in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo, Raymondville, Texas.

I was a classmate of Sally from grade school through high school in Des Moines, Iowa. I just learned about the passing of Sally today. I am sorry to hear this and wish to convey my sympathy and prayers for her family. Sally was always a lot of fun and we had many good times together. I am sure you will all miss her a great deal.
