Christopher David Granholm passed away on June 30, 2018 at the age of 70 after a full life...
Born in Queens, New York the son of Richard and Catherine Granholm. Chris is survived by his loving wife and best friend, Patricia Granholm and their sweet dog Gypsy; his sons Benjamin (Becky) Granholm and Christopher Granholm, Jr.; his stepdaughter Dawn Shaver and his four granddaughters, Ashlyn, Olivia, Jennifer, and Amanda. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kitty Wilson (Ted) and is survived by his siblings Rick (Heidi), Ken (Mary), John (Jacki), Susan Granholm, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Also surviving Chris is his former wife, Juana Granholm and her children Eddie, Romelia, and Gerardo, and grandchildren Sarah, Christian, Karen, and Gerardo Jr.
Chris had an infectious love of life. Warm and always inviting, he was continuously discovering new people and new adventures. Since retiring to Venice, Florida Chris has been active in the Venice Newcomers Club and its alumni; the Venice United Church of Christ as Treasurer; and the Venice East Golf Course as Treasurer. Chris discovered golf and bridge and loved them both. Chris' family and friends will miss him always. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a future date.

Chris was my bridge partner and bridge mentor at the In Between bridge Club, Sarasota.FL.
I only knew Chris two years, his charm and grace over the bridge table make everyone feel at ease.
Did I mention that Chris was an oustanding Master Bridge Player?
He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
