Christopher Arthur Obituary

Christopher Michael Arthur, 21, of Woodway, entered into the presence of God Thursday, October 13, 2011, as a result of a sudden motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at Grace Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor David Booker leading the celebration of Christopher's life. Christopher will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco. Visitation services will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at the funeral home.

Christopher was born April 25, 1990, in Jacksonville, Fla. He was able to experience life in Rota, Spain; Brunswick, Maine; Ripley, Tenn.; and eventually settled in Woodway, Texas. He completed his high school degree at home in 2008 and was awarded a scholarship to McLennan Community College. Christopher was employed at The Cathay House in Waco.

Christopher, always the adventurer, loved life and played hard. His spontaneous zest for life allowed him to enjoy those moments, wherever they led him. He was happiest surrounded by his friends and family to whom he brought incredible joy. Christopher was a fiercely loyal friend who brought laughter and happiness to those around him. His memory will continue to do so.

Christopher is cherished by all of his parents, Joanna and Bart Jackson of Woodway, and Gary Dean Arthur of Mumford, Tenn. He is also loved and adored by his siblings, Taylor, Sara, and Jake Jackson of Woodway, Cheyenne, Cody, and Audrina Arthur of Mumford, Tenn., Tori Mosuly of Maryland, and Rachelle Jackson of Cincinnati, Ohio. Christopher will always be remembered by his grandparents and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

We will never forget the twinkle in your eye and that sideways grin.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Project Angel Tree Central Texas.

Chris: From what I've heard and read about you, I regret that I've never gotten to meet you in person. May you rest peacefully and celebrate your new place next to God. My thoughts and prayers go to the family. As you go through the healing process, just remember that Chris is not suffering and will rejoice in your healing. God bless each of you.
