WAHOO – Keith W. Texel, 71, of Wahoo, died July 26 at his home.
Texel was born May 19, 1939 to Ernest A. and Elsie (Pavel) Texel in Wahoo. He graduated from Wahoo High School and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he earned degrees in Psychology, Botany and Spanish.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, Wahoo; son and daughter-in-law, Timothy and Joan Texel of Lincoln; daughter, Kimberly Texel of Lincoln; son, Mark Texel of Omaha; brother, Donald Texel of Glendale, Ariz.; and three grandchildren.
