Clarice Marion (Knutson) Jagodzinski gained her angel wings on February 5, 2025 in Fargo, ND under hospice care and surrounded by her daughter Mona and Mona's special friend Cathy. Visitation will be Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. all at Faith Lutheran Church, Dwight, ND. Burial will be in the Cayuga Cemetery, Cayuga, ND in the spring. The service will livestreamed on the Faith Mooreton Lutheran Parish Facebook page.
Clarice Marion (Knutson) Jagodzinski was born on January 27, 1944 in Britton, SD to Clifford and Marian Knutson. She grew up in Forman and later moved to Minneapolis, MN. On October 15, 1966 she married the love of her life Larry Jagodzinski. They had two children, Scott (Jackie), Phoenix, AZ and Mona, Fargo, ND. They later moved to Mooreton, ND.
Clarice was an amazing piano and organ player and played in Mooreton and Dwight Lutheran churches for 35 years. She worked at Spies Super Value, later working for Jubilee Foods until her retirement.
She is survived by her children, five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, brother-in-law George (Pauline) Jagodzinski, Marcy (Don) Wacloff; and special friend Susan Samples, who she met at Evergreen where she lived her last eight months.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry; her parents, Clifford and Marian; and brother John Knutson (Delores).
