ABRAHAM GEFFEN, M.D.
On Monday, April 20, 2015, Dr. ABRAHAM GEFFEN of Rockville, MD. Beloved husband of the late Ethel Petegorsky Geffen, devoted father of Sara (Leon) Geller, David (Mitzi) and Robert (Yaffa) Geffen, dear grandfather of Noam, Chana, Etan, Penina, Asher and Aynat Geffen, Elisheva and Yoni Shaul, Ruth and Becky Geller and the late Idan Geffen. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, 2 p.m. at Beth El/Cedar Park Cemetery, Paramus, NJ. On Thursday, April 23, shiva will be observed at 7:30 p.m. at B'nai Shalom of Olney, 18401 Burtfield Dr., Olney, MD 20832. Shiva will continue at the home of Hazzan Sara and Leon Geller on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m., Sunday night at 7:30 p.m. and on Monday night at 7:30 p.m.. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cantor's Music Fund at B'nai Shalom of Olney. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME (endorsed by the Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington) 202-541-1001.
