On Tuesday, November 9, 2021, Alice Juel (Olds) Beiro died of respiratory failure at her home in Alexandria, VA. Born in Washington, DC on September 5, 1960 to the late Hugh W. Olds, Jr. and Beverly Smith Olds. Alice attended Fort Hunt High School and James Madison University and worked at the U.S. Department of State for the last 16 years as a resource manager in the Bureau of Overseas Buildings Operations. Alice is survived by her three children, Jacqueline N. Beiro of Pioneertown, California; Christopher A. Beiro (Natalie) of Springfield; and Julia E. Beiro of Richmond, as well as her two sisters, Carolyn Elliott (Rodney) of Lewes, DE and her four children; Amy Olds of Landrake, Cornwall, United Kingdom; her ex-husband Christopher J. Beiro of Alexandria, and three grandchildren. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Philip's Catholic Church, 7500 St. Philip's Court, Falls Church, VA on Thursday, May 26 at 4 p.m, followed by a celebration of life on Friday, May 27 at Fort Hunt Park, 8999 Fort Hunt Road, Alexandria, VA from 3 to 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the fundraiser in Alice's memory at First Book: https://support.firstbook.org/fundraiser/3598806
