Anthony Conques Obituary
Anthony Lawrence Conques Sr.
Anthony Lawrence Conques, Sr., age 72, of Fairfax, VA passed away on July 1, 2022 at Fairfax Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Conques; children Tony, Jr. (Kara), Carrie, Leanne, Kristen, and Billy (Katie); his grandchildren Cole, Reed, Jake, and Ryder Conques; brother Col. Duane (Loula) Conques; sister Deborah Burns. Anthony was preceded in death by his parents, Col. Lawrence and Irene Conques. A Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6 at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 7 at St. Mary of Sorrows Catholic Church in Fairfax, VA immediately followed by burial in Fairfax Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Virginia Cancer Specialists of Fairfax, VA.

I'm sorry to learn of Tony's passing. We had 2 really nice chats at our 50th reunion, and he talked about how blessed he was to have made it this far. We will miss this friendly, good Brother Rat.

I was blessed to have Tony as both a friend and a VMI Class of 1971 Brother Rat. I was further blessed to visit with Tony at our 50th Class Reunion in Lexington, VA this past March. Rest in peace, BR! Jim '71

Blessed to have known Tony since 1967. Fortunate to spend 3 days with Tony & Kathy in March at our Class reunion´s 50th. Listened to Tony as he caught us up on events in his life. Beautiful!
