WEAVER, BENNY L.
Peacefully on Monday, May 17, 2004, Mr. Weaver went home to be with the Lord. He leaves to cherish his memory, two sons, Benny, Jr. and Carl Weaver; three grandchildren, three sisters, one brother, his mother, Mary Gamble; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 22 at the Hemingway Memorial A.M.E. Church, 6550 Gateway Blvd., District Hts, MD from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. Reverend Porter officiating. Interment Poughkeepsie, NY. Services rendered by Taylor's Funeral Home/DC.

Benny was the nicest guy. He worked at my condominium complex on occasion. Once I left work early and came home to see him in the condo hallway, on his knees, passing a feather under my door to entertain my kitty cat!
He had a heart of gold and we'll miss him at Dupont Row.
