Brian, we ate headed to DC on Wed to spend the 4th with our daughter Elena, who's a senior at GW. I was so excited when she started there because I was hoping to see you again. Sadly, you had already left us. I think of you often, especially when we visit DC. Ill never forget chasing after you on Nov 4 1996 running thru the crowds that had camped out all day to watch the fireworks on the mall. You showed us how to barge through the masses and just plop down amongst all the people just in time for the show to start. It was the best! There was never a neighbor like you. You were one in a million. We will be remembering you and sharing our memories with Elena and her roommates as we watch the fireworks this week. We love you and hope to see you again some day.

Death takes the body. God takes the soul. Our minds hold the memories and our hearts keep the love. Brian was a special person with an energetic personality that could be overwhelming at times, but when he counted you as his friend, that energy surrounded you with love and concern for your welfare. Brian's love, generosity and intellect touched many lives, especially mine, and I am grateful to have been part of his life. My loving condolences to his sister Marilyn, his brother Alan and their families.

Brian was a dear friend and I will miss his humor and counsel. He was a very giving person who would always go the extra mile to help. The world is a better place because he was in it.

Although I did not know Brian for very long he will be greatly missed. He was always on the go & never wanting to sit still for any time .We worked together at the Escort Desk on Wednesday mornings at VHC.
