Beloved husband of the late Celia "Cippi" Appelbaum; devoted father of Stan Appelbaum (Barbara Bassin), Kenny (Lee) Appelbaum, Joel (Liz) Appelbaum and the late Judith Appelbaum; loving brother of Bernie (Eleanor) Appelbaum, Melvin (Estelle) Appelbaum and the late Morris (Kitty) Appelbaum; cherished grandfather of Jenna, Miranda, Bryce, Alex, Joshua, Adina, Eric and Carly; brother in-law of Jerry Silver and Anita Krakower. Funeral service will be held on Friday, April 27, 9 a.m. at DANZANSKY-GOLDBERG MEMORIAL CHAPELS, INC., 1170 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD 20852 301-340-1400. Interment King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, VA. The family will be observing Shiva following interment through Sunday evening, excluding sabbath at the residence of Joel and Liz Appelbaum. To My Dear Nephews.....Stan, Kenny & Joel (Barbara, Lee & Liz) Sending all of you our love & deepest sympathy on Dad's passing. Dave was like a brother to me & I will always cherish the memories of him & your Mother, my sister......They are now together for eternity....You.... their sons have left them a legacy of 8 beloved & cherished granchildren.....Jenna, Bryce, Adina, Mandy, Josh, Alex, Eric & Carly........(all who are carrying on family names)So sorry we were out of the country when Dad died & unable to be with you at the funeral....Please know we are sending all of you much love & support during this difficult family time.... Cherish the memories....
