DAVID CHARLES SCHOEN
Passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 from cardiac arrest. Adored husband of Moira McNamara Schoen; cherished father of Fletcher Schoen (Sally) and Patrick "Mac" Schoen; loving son of Homer Schoen and his wife, Lynn, and the late Patricia Cobb Schoen. He loved his friends and family, his five siblings and his devoted dog, Roland.Memorial service will be held at PUMPHREY'S BETHESDA-CHEVY CHASE FUNERAL HOME, 7557 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD on Saturday, January 12 at 10 a.m. Interment will be private.In lieu of flowers, consider a contribution to Center for Furniture Craftsmanship, 25 Mill St, Rockport ME 04856. I just found out by chance of your loss; Alastair and I are sad and in shock for David's untimely passing. I will always remember your kind friendship during our stay in San Diego. All our love and heart felt sympathy for you and the boys (they must be wonderful men by now).

I worked with David at Inmarsat in Nyon, Switzerland from 2011 to 2013, and my wife Gail and I got to know David and Moira. We are both shocked to hear of his passing and want to pass our sincere condolences and prayers to Moira and the rest of David's family.
