Dear Katherine,
John Endicott here -- from many wonderful times with you and Ed in Tokyo too many years ago to remember. I just read of Ed's passing reading the Guest Book for Ambassador Bill Clark.
Mitusyo and I send our deepest sorrow to you at Ed's passing. We have not seen each other for years, but I fondly remember the gracious dinners given for me on some of my visits to Tokyo.
Mitchie and I continue our work in East Asia as I am now the Co-President of Woosong University and Vice-Chancellor of SolBridge International School of Business --Mitchie teaches Japanese at Woosong.
We will remember you and Ed in our evening prayers, God Bless You.
Sincerely,
John and Mitsuyo Endicott

Ed and Jasper walking, walking, walking was a fixture in our neighborhood for many years and he has been missed this past year. Kathy's love, grace and tenderness in his last years is a testament to their love and marriage. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Mary Beth and I met Ed and Kathy, his mother and kids when we lived in Tokyo back in 1979 to 1981.
We always appreciated his friendship and will miss him as he was one of the nicest and most interesting person during our stay.
Our sympathies go out to Kathy, the girls, their husbands and the grandkids.
