My memories of working with Elaine as a colleague and friend are long lasting. I think of her when I drive my the Gate of Heaven Cemetery where she rests along side her husband John. I have Elaine's prayer card from her funeral and I read her warm message every Sunday before Mass. RIP my friend.

To Elaine's family - please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of your dear mother. We knew her for just a short time when we lived in the same building in Leisure World. She was a very special lady, indeed! Our prayers are with you all during this difficult time. Sincerely, Kathy & Chuck Monahan - Raleigh, NC

Elaine is a blessing in my life. We shared many good times enjoying the double bond of cousin and friend. She was an example of a life lived with strength and courage and she loved her family and friends and showed it. I miss you so much, Elaine, and you will forever be a guiding influence in my life.

Elaine had more influence on me as a person than she ever knew. There was something very special about this lady but anyone who knew her knows that. Today, my big regret is that I lost contact (my fault 100%) with Elaine after we both left the Office of the Public Defender. God bless you Elaine and your family.

Elaine was a precious cousin to me, devoted to her family and friends. She was truly an inspiration with her kind/generous nature and willingness to help with all she could to those she came in contact with. Elaine, you will be missed. All my love to the family. Denise Smith

Elaine is my cousin. She was also one of my best and kindest friends growing up on 40th street in Washington. I loved her sense of humor. She could make anyone laugh. Elaine had a lot of medical issues that were a challenge and at the same time she had a zest for life that was admirable.
Elaine taught me and many in our family how to be kind and how to be charitable to others. She loved her children and grand children like a saint and her presence will be deeply missed. She is one of the people that I will anxiously look forward to seeing in the next life. Until then, I love you. Ric Oddone
