Elizabeth Parker Obituary

Elizabeth Savage Parker was born December 28, 1929 to Dean and Bertha Savage in Gordo, Alabama, the youngest of five children. She grew up in Alexandria, Virginia, graduated from George Washington High School, in 1948, and from Mars Hill College, in 1951. She married Willard C. Parker in 1974. They lived in Arlington and Linden, Virginia, and at the Savage farm in Nokesville, Virginia, raising foster children, and caring for her parents. She was active in her community, including two congregations, in the Manassas area. Elizabeth passed away on April 17, 2024. She is buried with her husband in Columbia Gardens Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia. She is survived by 11 nieces and nephews, as well as grand nieces and nephews.

We will never forget when Mrs. Parker took us on a tour of her "Green House" in Linden. Very interesting interior. Attended many meetings of the Board of Directors of Skyland Estates with her. May she rest in peace.
