There is a saying, "Some people come into our lives and leave footprints on our hearts". Emanuel was that person to me, leaving memories that will always live in my heart from "once-upon-a-time, a long time ago". It was his influence that encouraged me to take the positive direction that I chose to took in life. In sympathy, with gratitude and love, "A caring person who remembers" ~ Los Altos, CA

I worked for Manny back in 1959 at GE. He was a wonderful boss. I happened to be online and somehow came across his name. Sympathies to you and your family.

Dear Hermione - Manny was one of my father's (Bill Pritchard's) great colleagues, and I remember both of you at our house many times. (In fact, I blush to remember that our dog dragged your stunning fur coat out to be his doggie bed one of those nights ....) Manny was a brilliant engineer and businessman, and my father respected him deeply, and liked him even more. He was a pioneer in the satellite world, and I was deeply saddened to see the notice in this morning's Post. My thoughts are with you and your family.

Dear Hermione, Tears filled my eyes when I saw the article in the Post this morning about the passing of your beloved husband. I certainly would have attended the funeral service on Tuesday but did not see the earlier Post announcements.
My friendship with Manny ranks at the highest level. He mentored me in special ways during our 20 years together at Fairchild, and I will always thank God for allowing our paths to cross. Our business trips together were always enjoyable, especially when they included visits to Vail and Squaw Valley.
My heartfelt prayers are with you and your family. Your Friend, John Jackson

Manny, gave me the valuable opportunity to learn satellites and radio and shape my career as a practicing telecommunications lawyer and academic for which I am eternally grateful. Manny was a human dynamo of conceptions and energy that makes things get done. I am thankful for his life, and so sorry to see him pass.
