FLORENCE IROFF Obituary
FLORENCE IROFF (Age 95) 9/11/1921 ~ 4/4/2017
Of Alexandria, VA, and most recently of The Crossings at Falls Run in Fredericksburg, VA, passed away on April 4, 2017. Florence was born on September 11, 1921, in Manhattan, NY, and is survived by her son Ronald Iroff and daughter-in-law Phyllis Iroff, Parkersburg, WV; daughter Susan Iroff-Webster and son-in-law Larry Webster, Remington, VA; daughter Nadine Iroff and son-in-law Lyle Edlin, Perkiomenville, PA; and daughter Linda Iroff, Oberlin, OH; her grandchildren Jeffrey French, Matthew Rich, and Joy Iroff-Reinoehl; and great-grandchildren Leah, Benjamin and Aaron. She was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Harry Iroff. Florence was a devoted wife and mother. In addition to raising four children, she helped in the family dry cleaning business. She was a long-time member of the Northern Virginia Hadassah and served as its President for several years. Service will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 at 1 p.m. at National Funeral Home, 7482 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22315. A private graveside ceremony at King David Memorial Gardens, Falls Church, will follow. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, https://ww5.komen.org.

Florence was a loving, supportive aunt to our family and treated our daughters like a grandmother would. She will be missed but our wonderful memories will live on.

I only knew Florence through her daughter Linda. I saw photo's of her on Facebook. She seemed to be such a lovely lady. And she raised such a wonderful daughter it tells me all I need to know about her. My sincere sympathy to Florence's family. Hold her memories close in your hearts and she will be with you always.
