GERALDINE DAVIES Obituary


GERALDINE HALL DAVIES  (Age 92)  
Longtime resident of Falls Church, VA for 62 years died at home on Friday, February 21, 2014. She was born in Elsie, MI on October 5, 1921. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother and wife. She was an active member for 62 years of Christ Crossman United Methodist Church. Her husband, William Davies preceded her in death. Survivors include, a brother Spencer Hall of Maryland; son Bill Davies of Alexandria, VA; daughter, Pam Davies of Powder Springs, GA; and a grandson, Drew Davies of Alexandria; as well as several nieces. Services will be held on Saturday, March 1 at 11 a.m. at Christ Crossman United Methodist Church, 384 North Washington St., Falls Church, VA. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. before the memorial service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christ Crossman United Methodist Church or Capital Caring (Hospice), www.capitalcaring.org.

I was so sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. She was a wonderful person and such a sweet lady, never raising her voice and always willing to help with anything needing done at church.
She lived a long and beautiful life and will be missed by all that knew her. May you find comfort in knowing that she was a loved by so many people.
