Byrd (Kevin) of Bethesda, MD; grandmother of John, Austin and Claire Bordley, Courtney, Kevin Jr. and Melissa Byrd and Daniel Wolff. She was predeceased by her former husband, Ambassador John A. Scali. Relatives and friends are invited to call at JOSEPH GAWLER'S SONS, INC., 5130 Wisconsin Ave., N.W., Washington, DC, 20016 on Tuesday, March 2, 2004 from 4 to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of the Little Flower, 5607 Massachusetts Ave., Bethesda, MD 20816 on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at 10 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Church of the Little Flower to serve the needy.
