Mr. Heflin was a fine man and he represented the state of Alabama with dignity. A man of God that humbled himself because he was obedient to the Lord, in serving others. My many thanks to the family for sharing him. I pray that the family trust in the Lord knowing that we will see him again. I believe Mr. Heflin started a legacy and just maybe one of his grandchildren, one day will walk in is footsteps. Mr. Heflin was an honest and fair person who was for the betterment of humanity and never treated anyone unfair because of his or her race. I will always have a lot of respect of a wonderful man, Mr. Howell Thomas Heflin.
