IVAN J. MILLER, D.D.S.
We are sad to announce the untimely passing of Ivan J. Miller, who died on the morning of January 8, 2014 in the loving embrace of his wife and sons. Known for his generous nature, Ivan was a compassionate soul who was taken too soon. Selfless son of the late Frances and Jesse Miller, Ivan was a loving husband to Marian, a devoted and beloved father to Daniel and Jack. Ivan practiced dentistry for nearly 40 years, treating families in Florida, Maryland and New York. He coached over a dozen local recreation and select sports teams, most notably basketball, bringing the I-270 League to Potomac. Contributions in Ivan's memory may be made to UCSF Foundation, with memo line specifying "CJD Fund B1760, honoring Ivan Miller" and sent to UCSF Foundation, Box 45339, San Francisco, CA 94145-0339. Memorial service previously held. Arrangements by Hines-Rinaldi Funeral Home, Inc. under Jewish Funeral Practices Committee of Greater Washington Contract.

My Uncle Ivan was a wonderful man. He and my Aunt Marian used to take care of my brother and I when we were kids. He was always fun, and very loving to both of us. I have such great memories when I used to go to their house in Florida. I just wish I was able to have seen him again before he passed away. Thinking of all of you and sending my love.

I have not been in contact with Ivan for many years. He was the best man at my wedding over 38 years ago. I was shocked and saddened when I was told about his death. Mine and Karen's best wishes and sympathies go out to his family.
