There are so many early childhood memories to think of when looking back at Hillcrest Heights. Memories of your Father and Family were some of the more cherished ones. My Heartfelt condolences to you Mrs. Bruder, Jimmy, Joey & Teresa

I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Teresa, your father was such a good man, and wonderful father to you. I'll never forget the time he drove a carload of screaming girls (including me!) all the way to Baltimore for a Shaun Cassidy concert (one of the highlights of my childhood -- thank you so much, Mr. Bruder!), or how proud he looked as you danced "Daddy's Little Girl" together at your wedding. You all were lucky to have him in your lives, and I know you have many beautiful memories to treasure. My husband and I send our deepest sympathy to you and your wonderful family, I am so very, very sad for you all. Love, Maria Scollar

When I think of Jim I especially remember all the fun picnics in Jim and Peggy's back yard. Mammaw fussing over how he was cooking the chickens on the grill. He was always happy and smiling. Such a loving, happy, man and always there to help. I loved my uncle Jim very much and cherish my wonderful memories of him.

Just heard of Jim's passing today. I have memories of visiting Peggy & Jim as a child when our family was visiting the DC area. I remember him as a kind, funny, caring man. There was always a lot of story telling and laughing involved in those visits. My prayers are with the family at this time.
