JAMES LISTORTI
James "Jim" Listorti age 76, formerly of Washington DC, died on March 14, 2022, following a long illness. Jim was a devoted family member, and an incredibly generous and long-term friend to many. He graduated from Georgetown University in 1967 and went on to earn a PhD from Columbia University. Jim specialized in international development and spent much of his career as a consultant with the World Bank with a focus on public and environmental health. He was fluent in Italian and French, and he also spoke Spanish and Arabic.Jim was preceded in death by his brother and parents. He leaves behind two cousins, an extended family in Italy, and many close friends. He will be interred at Holy Saviour Cemetery in York, PA with his family. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
